Why minimum guest counts exist
Catering at scale has fixed costs - kitchen setup, culinary leads, service captains, transport of equipment, and food safety protocols. Those costs exist whether you serve 50 or 500 guests.
Our minimums reflect the point where we can deliver Narayanam-standard service without cutting corners. They are not arbitrary.
The numbers
Most functions - Breakfast, Chai Adda, Lunch, Carnival, Mayra, Mehendi, Pool Party, After Party - start from 200 guests.
Gala Dinner and grand receptions typically start from 500 guests. These are planning defaults in the Wedding Planner; final confirmation happens during consultation.
GST @ 5%
Indicative prices on the website and in the Wedding Planner are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST is 5% on catering services.
Your final quotation shows subtotal, GST, and total clearly. No hidden tax lines at invoice stage.
What if my function is smaller?
Talk to us. Some families run smaller gatherings alongside larger functions in the same wedding week. We advise honestly - sometimes we can accommodate, sometimes the minimum is firm for operational reasons.
